Tomorrowland

I spent years dreaming of attending this festival. In fact, anybody who loves to party wants tickets to this event at some point. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In 2012, the Tomorrowland organisers spent in the vicinity of $70 million organising this epic celebration of dance music. All 200,000 tickets sold out within an hour…

I took two weeks off work and planned an entire mini-Eurotrip just so I could go and witness the madness first hand. And fuck me, did it live up to expectations. In fact, it completely surpassed them. It shattered any preconceived notions of how good a festival could be and etched itself permanently in my memory. Unfortunately I attended this event when I was 24 years old, which meant that at that young age I was forced to accept that I would never attend a better party for the rest of my life. Unless I go to Tomorrowland again. Which I absolutely plan on doing (hopefully every year until it becomes a physical impossibility).

What I should mention is the incredible crew that we had while over there… We became our own little “Tomorrowland Family”, and were completely inseparable from the moment we met at the opening party!

Those from Australia: Mike, Tayla, Nichole, Oliver, Greg and Lisa

Those from Manchester: Jordan, Danny and Joe

Those from South Africa: Sonny and Lauren

This was the biggest, wildest, most intense, most fun party I have ever been to or potentially will ever go to. And arguably the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. A massive thank you to everyone in our crew for making this the experience it was. Can’t wait for Round #2! To fully understand the madness, have a look at the official Tomorrowland 2012 after-movie:
