This was a major dream of mine. I’ve loved his music for as long as I can remember. I had all his albums, listened to all his podcasts and watched YouTube videos of his DJ sets all over the world with anticipation and excitement. Every time I spoke to somebody who had seen him live, an overwhelming feeling of jealousy and slight hatred washed over me.

As much as I love music festivals, seeing a DJ play a set at a club can be a far more powerful experience. And as far as clubs go, nowhere beats Ibiza. This gave birth to my desire to see one of the world’s best DJ’s at the world’s biggest party island.

Amnesia to this day is one of my favourite clubs I’ve ever been to. I just had the most incredible time there. Luckily for me – as the cherry on top of what was already an epic night – Gareth Emery followed up Armin’s set. Suffice to say I spent most of the night in absolute awe.
